Lamona Beauté was born from a moment I’ll never forget.

I was just 13 years old on a family vacation in Hong Kong when I saw my mom get her nails done for the very first time. She sat down for a set of nail extensions, and I watched — completely captivated — as her hands transformed. A touch of color. A new shape. And just like that, she looked so polished, so confident. It was magical. That moment planted the seed for everything Lamona Beauté would become.

From that day on, I dreamed of doing something in the world of nails. By the time I turned 17, I started getting my nails done regularly — changing styles every 20 days. It became a cherished part of my self-care and self-expression. But over time, I started noticing the downsides. The long hours in the salon, the boredom of a design just days after getting it, and most importantly — the damage. I developed fungal infections, my nails grew weaker, and I realized how limiting they could be. Tasks like cooking or going to the gym became uncomfortable.
